Mom called from work to check on Dad today and they said he wanted the oxygen off and his breathing was well enough that they did take it off. We got there about 6 pm to visit and he was a little disoriented. He fell asleep a lot while we were there. He at one point after talking to us and falling asleep, woke up and said to mom, "where am I"? So she explained. His talking is getting lighter and lighter. I found out that Uncle Butch and Dad's niece Sally, Uncle Butch's daughter came to visit him yesterday. He forgot to tell us yesterday but when we asked he said, oh, ya, they were here yesterday. If anyone else came to visit, maybe you can let us know how it went. We didn't stay too long, he wanted to sleep. We made sure he had some dinner, he did eat OK tonight and his hand was not so swollen today. They did get him an air mattress, he said it was lumpy, so not sure he liked it.

Cindy, Dad got your card today, Mom read it to him. So sweet of you. He enjoyed it.
