Dad was finally transported to Huntington Memorial last night by 1 a.m. He is being seen by his neuro surgeon but they did not see anything new since the surgery. They did call in a cardiologist because something in his blood indicates that he may have had a small heart attack and the symptoms he had with the weakness on that side, it could have been from that. He is feeling good today, he's talking more. Poor Mom only got about 4-5 hours of sleep last night, she was called at 6 this a.m. and needed to bring up some of his medication. She called me with some things to bring him, like an electric shaver. I went and picked up Gary at the care facility and then we went to the hospital to visit. Dad was resting and had already had lunch so Mom and Gary and I went down to the cafeteria and had a bite to eat. We came back and visited a while and then Mom went home to take a nap. Gary and I visited for awhile, he was very talkative and then we left.

Dad mentioned that a lady came this a.m. and gave him communion. She said she'd come again tomorrow and have communion for mom too if she is there. I think he felt better receiving communion. Especially after he went to see a Priest before his surgery and he had Reconciliation and the Blessing of the Sick.

They are going to keep him for a few days and check him overall and find out what is going on. I guess we still don't know anything definite about his biopsy or now, his heart. But I keep thinking too that no news in this case is good news.
